SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. — The South Kingstown School Committee will hold open interviews for three finalists for the vacant superintendent of schools position next week.

The finalists are newly appointed Assistant Superintendent Linda Savastano, West Warwick Superintendent Karen Tarasevich and Mark Prince, superintendent of schools in Malden, Mass.

The interviews will take place over three days, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. each day at the high school, according to vice chairwoman Sarah Markey.

According to a schedule posted by Markey online, Savastano’s interview will take place Tuesday, Aug. 6, with Tarasevich to follow on Aug. 7 and Prince on Aug. 8.

The interviews are open to the public, Markey said.
