The South Kingstown Police Department announced today that the body of Alicia Storti, the 21-year-old South Kingstown woman who had been missing since April 15, was found in a wooded area close to her Tuckertown home.

Alicia Storti, 21, of Wakefield, was found dead today in a wooded area close to her Tuckertown home, the South Kingstown Police Department said in a release.

Police said foul play is not suspected, though the investigation is ongoing. Her body has been turned over to the state Medical Examiner’s office to determine the cause and manner of death, the release said.

Storti has been missing since late April 14 or early April 15, when she was seen leaving her house on foot.

She is the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Storti of Wakefield, owners of Avery Storti Funeral Home & Crematory.
