Barbara M. (DeCubellis) Janson, 86, of Morristown, TN, formerly of Wakefield, RI passed into the Lord’s hands on January 4th, 2020. She was the daughter of Antonio James DeCubellis and Anna Elizabeth (Perry) DeCubellis. She was the loving faithful wife of 64 years to Alfred O. Janson. She is survived by her husband Alfred (Al) Janson, daughter Kristina Weinreich, son-in-law David Weinreich, granddaughter Alyssa Weinreich, brothers John DeCubellis of RI, Anthony DeCubellis of PA, sisters Vicki Uthus of VA, Maria Brown of PA, Katherine Young of CT, and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by Jimmy, Phyllis, Rosemary, and Rosanne. She worked as an executive assistant to the VP of Academic Affairs at the University of RI for many years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 9683, a member and past president of South County Ambulance and Rescue Corps of South Kingstown, RI, and a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 5 – 8 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  A funeral mass will be Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Morristown with Msgr. G. Patrick Garrity officiating.  Interment services will follow at East TN State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway in Knoxville at 2:00 P.M.
